Hi Ruby, I'm glad you are enjoying the books. I think Rebecca turns out to be a lovely friend to Billie, even if Jack is still her first best friend. Maybe I should write another Billie B Brown story with Rebecca in it. What do you think?
Thanks for writing!

Hi, my Daughter has never liked reading, gets frustrated, jumps around and gets distracted very easy. Billie B Brown has changed all of that.....now we have tears if we dont have time to read a chapter each day.....she wants to take her book to school. We went to McDonalds with friends the other day and she wanted to take her book instead of playing. She is only 6 and not progressing as well as others in her Class - until now - we have noticed MASSIVE changes...she has finally gained some confidence and learnt to love to read ....We have had her eyes tested, hearing tested ----HUH - we just needed Billie B Brown...Thanks. Its nice to see my little girl so happy.

Hi!
Thank you so much for your lovely email. I’m so thrilled that your daughter is enjoying the books and that her reading is now progressing so well. My son is a struggling reader himself so I know as a mother what a joy and relief it is to find something he likes and is willing to persist with! I will definitely keep writing more – and with such great feedback as yours, I expect my publisher will be very happy to keep on publishing them. So far there are already another three books planned for this year, with another two early next year. I hope your daughter will like them too.
Best wishes,
Sally (the author)

I have told everybody about the Billie B Brwon Books. It is such a refreshing change for girls to read about a positive role model with her very own sense of style. You should be commended on that. The Second-Best-Friend book was very relatable to everyday social connections for young girls and I found this to be perfect for my daughter.

Hi Happy Mum,
Thanks so much for your feedback. It has been such a joy for me to hear from parents as well as children and particularly that they appreciate all the things we were aiming for!
You might be interested to know that the nest two books are due in the bookstores in only a few weeks.
Thanks for writing,

Oh dear Maya - that's bad news! A holiday to Broome sounds like fun, but I'm sorry to hear you lost your books on the way! Your dad probably feels pretty bad too, though, I expect. Perhaps you can borrow the books from the library? Otherwise there are two new Billie books coming out in August you might like to try?
Best wishes,
Sally

Hi Billy B Brown,

Hi I'm Tayla and Kiara's mum and I just want to say: FINALLY!! there are a series of books for the young girl reader. Tayla is 7 and Kiara is 6 so I've been looking for months for a series of books that are enjoyable, funny, and easy for the girls to follow and start to read themselves. We have the first 4 books and today I found the next 2 - "the beautiful haircut" and "The extra special helper" and we had a great laugh reading these - just us girls. Thankyou and I hope it continues as the boys have had books like Zac power series (by the same publisher)for ages (my Son loves them) but there haven't been any books out there for girl's who are just starting to read on their own. Keep up the great work Sally, and we can't wait for the next books out.

Hi Allison,
Thanks so much for writing in. I'm so pleased you and your girls like the Billie series. My middle son grew up on the Zac Power series too, but having no daughters myself, it is especially great to hear how well the Billie books are being received. And you'll be happy to hear that there are plenty more Billie books to come!
A special hello to Tayla and Kiara!
Best wishes,
Sally

Hi Billy B Brown,

My favourite book is the Beautiful Haircut. I am six and I read the books all by myself. I love them and I don't really like fairy books anymore. I like Billy because she is funny and I liked it when she did Jack's haircut.
Thank you,
love,
Pfeiffer

Hi Pfeiffer,
I like the Beautiful haircut a lot, too. It's probably one of my favourites so far. You are very clever to read the books by yourself already. Well done! I hope you like the new Billie books I am writing. There are plenty more to come.
Best wishes,
